AC Start is “pre-orientation” – it’s where full-time, Level 1 Fall intake students get organized before AC Day 1. AC Start gives you (plus parents/families/spouses) a chance to visit the Ottawa campus prior to the first day of school, so that you can get a head start on the information and tools that will set you up for success.

All AC Start sessions will take place in the Robert C. Gillett Student Commons (E Building). The General Session will follow this schedule:

8:30am – 9:30am AC Tours (1st Floor, Student Commons)
9:00am Check-in Begins (1st Floor, Student Commons)
9:30am – 10:00am Welcome Message from Student Support Services, Students’ Association, Academic Representative(s) (Algonquin Commons Theatre)
10:00am – 10:30am College Trade Show (1st Floor, Student Commons)
10:30am – 11:00am Parent/Family/Spouse Information Session (Restaurant International, Room H101)
10:30am – 11:30am Info Sessions and Workshops: First Gen, Intro to Tech@AC, Financial Aid and Student Awards, and Transfer Students (Algonquin Commons Theatre)
11:30am – 1:30pm AC Tours (1st Floor, Student Commons)
