AC Start is “pre-orientation” – it’s where full-time, Level 1 Fall intake students get organized before AC Day 1. AC Start gives you (plus parents/families/spouses) a chance to visit the Ottawa campus prior to the first day of school, so that you can get a head start on the information and tools that will set you up for success. Can’t make your designated AC Start date? All AC Start sessions will take place in the Robert C. Gillett Student Commons (E Building). Every AC Start session (not including the General Session) will follow this schedule:

8:00am – 5:00pm (drop in) AC Card & U-Pass (Room E120, Student Commons)
8:00am – 5:00pm (drop in) eTexts Support (Connections The Campus Store, H Building)
12:00pm – 2:00pm (every hour on the hour) AC Tours (1st Floor, Student Commons)
1:30pm Check-in Begins (1st Floor, Student Commons)
2:00pm – 2:30pm Welcome Message from Student Support Services, Students’ Association, Academic Representative(s) (Algonquin Commons Theatre)
2:30pm – 3:00pm College Trade Show (1st Floor, Student Commons)
3:00pm – 3:30pm Parent/Family/Spouse Information Session (Restaurant International, Room H101)
3:00pm – 4:00pm Info Sessions and Workshops: First Gen, Intro to Tech@AC, Financial Aid and Student Awards, and Transfer Students (Algonquin Commons Theatre)
4:00pm – 5:00pm AC Tours (1st Floor, Student Commons)
