|First Gen||Learn what opportunities are available to you as a First Gen student and how this can benefit your college career.|
|Intro to Tech@AC||Learn how to use the online tools that are required at Algonquin College (Blackboard, ACSIS, and Live@AC), so you can access timetables, grades, and email. You will also learn how to connect to the wireless network at Algonquin. Get a full description of Intro to Tech@AC here.|
|Financial Aid and Student Awards||Learn about options available to you for financing your education, including OSAP, scholarships, and bursaries.|
|Transfer Students||If you’ve taken courses at another college or university, or have work experience in a field similar to what you’re studying at Algonquin, learn how to make that experience work for you.|
Parent/Family/Spouse Information Session
Bringing a parent, family member(s), or spouse to AC Start? The Parent/Family/Spouse Information Session is an ideal opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the College. Featured session hosts include:
- Student Success Specialists (provide support and resources to help students achieve their academic and personal goals)
- Ancillary Services (AC Card, U-Pass, Food Services, Parking & Lockers, Connections: The Campus Store, The New Technology Store, and the Print Shop)
- Student Support Services (services available to all Algonquin students in need of support)
When registering, students should indicate if their parent/family/spouse will be attending the Parent/Family/Spouse Information Session.
Explore the College Trade Show
Discover the many helpful academic and student services that are available to students at Algonquin College. We encourage you to check out the College Trade Show on the 1st floor of the Student Commons, which features:
- Ancillary (AC Card, Parking, Lockers, Food Services, U-Pass)
- International Education Centre
- Student Support Services
- Students’ Association
- and many more!
There will also be Student Navigators on hand to help guide you through the Trade Show.
Take an AC Tour
Familiarize yourself with the Algonquin College campus via a customized guided tour specific to your School (the General Session will feature general tours of the campus).
